Window to the Soul

The eye is the window to the universe,

and some would say they are also windows to the soul..

but look deeper….. search within.
what you see just may creep ya out, depending where you begin and end.

come on… try it… look deep inside my eyes

look beyond the dancing giggles. 
you gotta go robotic, bionic even pass the lies.

look at the bars and the scars, the cracks the bruises,

yea even far beyond hopeless and useless.

if you look far enough you will start to see

what truly makes me…….. ME

 I got some peach cobbler sitting on that table

That german chocolate cake that is about get fabled

Some mac and cheese, jerk chicken, and rice

That crack tea is still calling me, turnip greens and ham....

If you look deep enough in my eyes,
 I am looking forward

To the future, 
when it’s time to hang back out with the fam.

My belly is getting a bit jelly, and that is his #1 goal

They talk about food is good for the soul
